The Y-chromosome is smaller than the X chromosome. So for the sex-chromosomes, women have two big ones and men have one big one and one small one. For all the other chromosomes, both males and females have two copies of each.

Human females contain two X chromosomes, and males contain one X and one Y chromosome. In the absence of a Y chromosome, a human fetus will develop as a female. This indicates that a gene or genes on the Y chromosome determines "maleness".

I assume you mean X and Y chromosome?
Y chromosomes are much smaller than X chromosomes and have less of an X shape (they actually look sort of like a blob under most microscopes, as opposed to the distinct X-like shape of the X)
