From the 80's. It's a turtle with a bent sword and a hat. Pretty much looks like a musketeer and he goes around saving people (animals). I believe it was an Hannah-Barberra cartoon but I'm not sure.

"Touché Turtle"! I had a coloring book based on the show. It actually was produced in the 1960s.

Touché Turtle and Dum Dum. Brandishing his trusty sword and exclaiming his catchphrase "Touché and away!" Touché was the brave and dashing leader, whereas Dum Dum was more of a simple minded follower.

This show was part of the new Hannah-Barberra cartoon series along with Wally Gator and Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har. Airdate of 1962.

wow, that does sound familiar, but I can't place the name, sorry! Try looking up a list of Hannah-Barbara cartoons on wikepedia or answers.com, you may be able to find a match by the title of the show alone.

Touche Turtle, I watched that show when I was a little kid. I actually enjoyed it alot ^_^
