My ex told me he had been cheating for 6 months. He told me this while he was wasted. Gave me details, names, everything. He passed out and I packed my stuff. When he "came to" the next day, me and our child were gone. He finally called me at my mom's house and asked what was going on. I repeated back what he had told me and he was devastated. Begged, cried, the whole bit, but it was too late. He couldn't believe he told me. What an idiot. Moral of the story? Don't drink and talk.

I was dating a guy who worked on a cruise ship that came to port in the town I lived. We saw each other weekly, but weren't physical, except for kissing. After a few months, I started to realize that it wasn't going to go anywhere because of his cruise ship lifestyle so I started dating someone else. I intended to tell him the next time he came, but I missed his stop and the next week he called to meet. I went to meet him and found him standing there with all his luggage. He quit the ship. I was horrified. I had to tell him I wasn't interested anymore. Ugh! it was awful. I married the new guy...so whew...good thing I didn't feel too bad.
