Valentine's day is tomorrow and every year, I have to be sad about this. I don't have that Special person. I just falled in love with the word "Love".

What can I do to get out of this stress of not having a valentine? Should I just sleep right now because I'm just stressed out about this whole thing?

I understand. I've never had a valentine for the big V-day either... well i had a stalker last year but i dont think that counts...

Anyhow... my advice is watch some lame movies on cable and get yourself some of those chocolates... they are so good that its a shame to miss out on them just cause you dont have a honey at the moment.

or hang out with your other single friends and get through it together....

well... good luck and happy fricken V-day... dont stress.. its just a dumb holiday... at least you dont have to waist any money on some lame gifts...

I must admit there was only one year in which this February 14th Day really affected me. I liked to drink sometimes so i went to the neighborhood bar that day and sat with the other "lonely" fools. This was waaaaaaaaay before i learned to love myself. On that day pretty much we all sulked and wallowed in our sorrows, listened to sad music on the jukebox and looked for desperate guys that would stray in. Lo and Behold the owner of the bar stopped in and bought all the ladies a round of drinks. It was a nice gesture and i admit did make the day nice because someone did think of us.

I would say for you to get out to the bar. Even if you don't drink it's a great place to go and be around "others" who are in the same boat. It's a way to get through the day and the bar or pub or whatever you wish to call it, might have some activities which will take your mind off it. GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!

Don't stress about it! IT'S JUST ANOTHER FLIPPIN DAY!!!!! I am not saying this because i "have someone". We are going to be apart on this day. Also you must remember it's a LOVE day surely there are friends and family in your life that you LOVE! It isn't all about romantic love you know!

Honestly, its a hallmerk holiday. Its a complete commercial sham. My girlfriend and I dont need a day to tell us when we give each other gifts, or wear somethign sexy for eachother. I recommend not sweating it. when you meet the right person, it will make up for those years without a valentine, then you'll wind up not celebrating after a while.

Just love yourself. You don't have to celebrate a holiday because everyone else does. If you do want to celebrate, though, take yourself out for a nice dinner and go see a movie that you've been wanting to see. It's okay to do things alone.

Really it comes down to being happy with yourself.. OR atleast realising that having someone will not cure all your problems. That you dont need someone with you to be happy. .. etc.

Im sinble but valentines day doesnt bother me at all. Infact at work today my mate said he'd bought his girlfriend a big bunch of flowers n i said "oh right, whys that?".. then i suddenly realised and was like "OH .. Yeah! Valentines day!"

Don't sweat it there are a lot of people that don't have a gf or a bf. But they just have the most fun they can have. Just hang with your friends and you will be fine. Someday you will have that special person i promise.

Always remember that others suffer more than you do. I'm separated from my wife of 20 years - we spent our 20th anniversary apart - and she is resolute she wants to divorce me.

I'm completely heartbroken, I love her still and want to work toward reconciliation. Valentine's Day is going to be miserable tomorrow.

Best to you.

uh ...no! if you love yourself treat yourself...binge on a sundae and a good movie. snuggle with your dog or something lol.....go buy yourself something...just dont sit around and have a pity party....maybe thats the vibe you throw off about yourself and keeps people at bay from you! if you cant be happy with yourself first you cant be happy with anyone. (people pick up on this)....so eat, soak in a bubble bath, see a good action movie...treat yourself, ya big baby! LOL

I once slept trought the whole day on my b-day, because I knew I wasn't getting anything!
Just try to "FORGET" about it, just think of it like every other day!
Good luck and happy day!
