Topshop - we're the same size by the sound of it.
So, have a lookie in the tall section in your nearest TopShop, forty quid and they should have a range of jean colours.
Hmm and best style, I'd say fitted bootlegs or skinnies (although they're not selling them so much any more) and go for a darker colour it's more flattering, especially as you're slim.
Oooh just thought, these ones are really nice:

Or have a look around there :)
That's my suggestion, have fun jean shopping.

Try these.....

Topshop are ok for longer length jeans but the fit in generally wrong around the waist for most people (from my own experience and other tall friends), Dorothy Perkins also do some clothes for long legged ladies, but they don't tend to have much variety. Mango are also fab for taller skinny ladies (although their sizing seems a bit hit and miss) - but their jeans are a good fit.
I also once went to a shop in Exeter (about 10 years ago) and there was a fab little shop with a crazy old man who made tailor made trousers for tall girls. I bought some fab trousers there for about £30 a pair, not sure if he's still there though. if you ever get to Thailand, I always go to a tailor there and have stuff tailor made for me (for a fraction of the price that you would buy something off the peg in this country). My top tip is James Fashion, 344/2-6 Sukhothai Road (668 6990), Bangkok if you are ever over there, I had some jeans, and a couple of work suits, my friend had a ball gown and another friend had her wedding dress made there, all fab, lovely people too.
With trainers or flats you probably don't want completely straight down jeans, you need a bit of a boot cut at the ends. Skinny jeans look better with heels.

Have you tried Uni Qlo? They cater for women of all heights and from experience they have great quality jeans that last really long.I go to the one In Croydon, but Oxford Street or even your local shopping centre should have one. They start form £24.99 or less I think
Also what about Levi's or Rock and Republic?

you are lucky as you can wear almost any style jeans.
from expenience i would go to topshop, new look or even tk maxx(you can get diesel jeans for 30 quid!) and pick out as many different stlyes in your(approx) size and try em all. it is time consuming but it works for me. topshp. long tall sally, h&m and dorothy perkins all have tall ranges to suit all tastes so give them a try, hope this helps??
good luck x
