With the new internet explorer how do i clear the history so when i drop down the websites they are all gone?

I just got it and want to know how to clear the history so websites dont drop down

Go to Tools, go to Internet Options, click on Clear History.

Hi,

I have had Internet Explorer version 7 since it came out & it's just the same way as you would with the older versions ~ they have made a little bit more options than the older version which is good.

Follow these instructions & you'll be good to go:

1. Click on Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools
3. Click on Internet Options which a box will pop up
4. You will be on the "General" tab ~ STAY on that tab
5. Under "Browsing History" section in the "General" tab, you will see two buttons to click on which will be "Delete" & "Settings" ~ Click on "Delete" which another box will pop up
6. It will look similar to the "General" tab with different sections ~ under "Temporary Internet Files" ~ click on "Delete" ~ a box will pop up asking if you are sure ~ click "Yes"
7. Under "Cookies" section ~ click on "Delete" ~ a box will pop up asking if you are sure ~ click "Yes"
8. Under "History" section ~ click on "Delete" ~ a box will pop up asking if you are sure ~ click "Yes"
9. I would personally (in my opinion) leave alone the "Form Data" & "Passwords" sections in there
10. After you have completed all steps prior to this one ~ click on "Close"
11. That box will disappear ~ you will still have the "Internet Options" box open ~ you can click on "Ok" at the bottom of the box & you're good to go!!!!

In my opinion ~ I would make sure you clean all of that out at least once every 2 weeks, it can slow your computer down. I hope I helped you enough!!!!

under the "X" button there are 2 arrows >>, click there, goto tools, internet options, clear history, done!!!

drop down the favorites, a small bar will appear and history will be on it
