Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.

I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.

You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.

The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.

To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

The meaning of life is whatever each of us humans choose to give to it.
Some people say it's not focused on the individual, but on the whole scheme of things: such as, what is the point of it all.
Each of us has to work that out for ourselves, because the wider picture is so vast, we can't take it in as a whole, we need to look at it in little parcels of knowledge. Even then...

What is the meaning of life?
One person may be looking at the meaning of life with God in it,
others from an entirely different perspective such as, we are here for a short time, why are we here, what does it all mean?

The thing is, without some overall purpose in things, all we do somehow seems worthless or doomed. We need to think what we put value on, in each of our lives.

If i said it is to pro, create, I could be wrong. We seek the truth and when we think we have found it, it may only be our own truth.

And that is the only answer I can give you
The truth is , many philosophers dodge this issue.
Yes and we can all see why!

Good interesting question. Sorry, poor answer!

It is to laugh often as much as you can, able to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, earning the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, appreciating the beauty and finding the best in others, leaving the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition, and knowing even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.

God created everyone with an emptiness in our hearts and it has the "shape" that can be filled only by God.

People try to fill that emptiness with, money, sex, drugs, alchool, social position and many many other different things which do not bring happiness.

I think you know a lot of cases when rich people who seem to have everything, ends up by suiciding.

Jesus is the answer.

Our purpose here in life is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. Here are a couple of verses which tell us of our purpose: The first is 1 Corinthians 10: 31: "Whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." The second is Psalm 73:25-26: "Whom have I in heaven but thee? There is none upon the earth that I desire beside thee. (26) My flesh and heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever." Throughout the Bible there are verses which declare that our chief end in this world is to glorify God and enjoy him forever.

The meaning of like is to find happiness. Think about it...people do things to make themselves happy. They have jobs to have money or to feel a sense of achievement, we got out looking for love, we help people, do drugs, get drunk, have friends..All this ties up to what makes people happy. You should read the book by The Dahli Lama called, "The meaning of life" Oh and by the way, I DON'T do drugs, I just mention it cuz people that do drugs want to feel happines.
