The body I was born in weighed about 7 pounds and existed 54 years ago. No way I could get back to that body even if I wanted to.

There is no original "body." The subtlest physical manifestation or bodily form exists in higer planes, not subject to the same time/space mental limitations that human bodies are subject to. In still higher planes, there are formless beings manifest only as infinite space, infinite consciousness and so on (mind only). The ultimate plane has neither mental nor physical body manifestations, thus, it is a state outside of the mental planes, by logic, a state that can not be contemplated whilst in a "body." What do you mean? If I was born in another body, why would I want to go back to this body? How would I know about this body?

You just have to be happy with who you are for the rest of your natural life, everything happens for a reason, think of it as a learning experince. I used to be Atiila The Hun, (I hate having to wait in lines!).
