I was the same with my History Essay. I advise you to start soon. Otherwise you just have to do it at the last minute and get rubbish grades. It's easier to do it on a typewriter or handwritten than on a computer. This is because people often get distracted by websites ,music or games.

hmm..wish i could offer some good advice, but i'm exactly the same! whenever i have to write an essay my mind just goes blank and i get really stressed out cause i can't think of anything.
But after hours of doing diferent rough drafts, tinkering around with ideas etc, i eventually come up with something at about half eleven at night that's decent enough lol

The longer you leave it the more horrible it will beome, and to make matters worse you'll have less time to do it.
Stop viewing it as a horrible essay, just see it as another rung on te ladder to your A grade, the sooner the you become more positive about it the sooner you will get it done.

Open notepad and start tinkering around with random sentences that are vaguely related to your essay subject. Trawl out the trash and you might just have an outline.

Perhaps if you stopped thinking of it as horrible it might go easier. You didn't give us any detail on what topic you're supposed to be writing about.
Suck it up and write it.

One thing that stops writing is the feeling that it has to be perfect as we're writing it.
Pick your subject, then just start writing random thoughts. Don't worry about spelling, grammar, just basically do a brain dump.

Because it's clearly very horrible. I suggest you post the question and then plagiarise the people who write really long involved answers. Then delete the question so no one can prove you plagiarised. Get to it!

Turn off the pc, put some music on, get some hot chocolate and biscuits and get down to it!
