Well... here is the recipe for it... and the recipe for Thousand Island dressing... looks like the special sauce has a little more ingrediants.
Special sauce recipe:
The Recipe For Big Mac Special Sauce
From McMenu - McDonald's Do-It-Yourself Recipes:
1/4 cup KRAFT Miracle Whip
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons, heaping, WISHBONE deluxe French salad dressing (the orange stuff)
1/2 tablespoon HEINZ sweet relish
2 teaspoons, heaping, VLASIC dill pickle relish (Heinz dill relish also works)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried, minced onion
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon ketchup
1/8 teaspoon salt
Mix everything very well in a small container. There better be no streaks! Microwave 25 seconds, and stir well again. Cover, and refrigerate at LEAST 1 hour before using. (to allow all of the flavors to "meld") Makes nearly 1 cup… enough for about 8 Big Macs.

THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING
1 c. mayonnaise
1/3 c. ketchup
1/4 c. pickle relish
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1 hard cooked egg, chopped
Mix all ingredients together well. Cover and chill. Makes 2 cups.

Some secret hun? Essenntially your right but for legal reason McDonalds calls it special sauce because they are copying someone else patent and they don't want to cough up the cash.

I think its called Burger Sauce which i was told is a mix of ketchup, majonaise and mustard.

NO!!!... the Big Mac special sauce is crud and cottage cheese gathered from between the fat rolls and extra chins of the ladies who work there!!.....UGH.....U ate it?
