Annoying coworkers?

Does anyone have coworkers that just annoy the hell out of you? What do they do that annoys you??

No, I do not now. But used to - all were women (10 of them!) They constantly gossiped and quarreled with each other, creating alliances - one day they were Friend with one, the other - with another. It was rather inconvenient than annoying.

A few of my co-workers tend to carry on their conversations in a rather loud tone. Even with the headphones on listening to rock music I can still hear them sometimes. Some even laugh so hard it's downright annoying. And yet, I still have to put up with them, which makes it even more difficult for me to concentrate on my task. I happen to be an introvert by nature, which makes dealing with loud coworkers all the more unsettling...

I have two at the moment. One is very negative and tries to start things, and runs to the manager the second she sees you do something wrong, and she always tries to "one-up" you, like if you tell her something bad that happened to you, she'll say something worse happened to her. Every time. And she has a weird fear of water. We work in a hospital kitchen and it's expected that we wash our hands and I've never ONCE seen her wash her hands. She'll put on gloves to handle anything wet, even if it's clean. And she has wild stringy hair, bad breath, and one top tooth showing. She's really gross.
The other is a recently married 18-year-old who also recently just became a father and he thinks he knows everything. He's very arrogant and we all hate working with him. The rule is, when he's done with his work, he's supposed to come over to my area and help me finish my work so we can get out of there at the same time, but he basically just stands around and waits until I do all my stuff. Yes, one more so than the other.

I cannot possibly list everything he does that annoys me. Perhaps I'll write a blog....but anyway, simply put, EVERYTHING he does annoys me. And he does some pretty strange things, because he's OCD and a control freak.

He eats potato chips with a fork, for example. Every (every!) time he leaves the office he checks his mailbox. We get mail 3 TIMES A DAY!

I have one. He is a 50 something short paunchy divorcee, and he is a "loud talker." He is so freakin' loud I can't stand it. And he's always talking about NOTHING! Alternatively, it's something that makes you want to vomit when you think of it - like how he's got valentines day dates lined up with "fine lookin' women" at a hotel. Or how "some women just can't take a compliment - you know the type." He really just makes me want to knock him out and then throw up on him while he's lying on the ground.

YES!
I have one that comes in late by like a 1/2 hour or hour and is always hung over. That just bugs me, but he is the owners BFF so no one can say anything

I worked with one guy who drove me crazy. He was a brilliant technician, but he wold talk, and talk, and TALK and not hear anything anybody ever said. Me, with a competitive spirit, was driven crazy by not having the ability to prove my worth with him. I eventually did talk with a therapist who helped me to get past the situation.

And speaking of co-workers who drive you crazy... I had another... ahhh... one is enuff. Everybody has these type of people in their life. You can't escape them, so you need to make the adjustments to stay sane. Good luck!

I quit my job in Sept but my co-workers were friends with the boss before the boss WAS the boss-SO they knew everything before anyone else, they knew who was getting reprimanded before the person who did wrong even knew he was in trouble. The boss was the one who did wrong by telling them.They were gossipy wenches and hateful people. Glad to be rid of it.

Doesn't everyone have one of those in their office?? The annoying one in my office always has to be right. It doesn't matter what it is, he has done it and done it 20 times better than you!! aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh......soooooooo annoying, makes me wanna throw a pencil at his little tiny head!!!! heehee

My mananger. Awful. He never stops talking and he never has anything to say. One time I decided to vacuum, just to get a few minutes of quite. He followed me around standing about two feet from me and just yelled over the vacuum. Awful.
