What are two aspects of your live that you have strong attitudes towards, 1 negative and 1 positive:?

When any why do you believe these attitudes were formed? How do you think they can be changed?

Answer 1

My utmost negative attitude is about abuse/abandonment of animals or humans alike. Though my major experiences are with animals.

As to when I began to feel this way.....Since I was a young girl, living in the south, watching stray kittens starve and live without shelter from the cold.

On how this can be changed.....When more people decide to spay and neuter their animals, there will be fewer of them living on the streets or having to be put down.

More education on raising both animals or children, that one may want, is needed. The dream or passion of having animals or children is far more fanciful and romantic than the reality of the work and expense involved to maintain and raise them.

I've rescued more horses than I care to count, and the years it has taken some of them to recoup from their abuses is daunting. It never seizes to amaze me what people are capable of, both bad and good.

As for strong positive feelings? Again, I'd have to express that it is the nature of mankind to be as equally humane and caring, as it is to be abusive and neglectful. I've witnessed those who have risked their lives to save an animal from torture. And I'm sure there are many who would do the same to protect a child.

Again, education is key to change, and the courage to act on those things we know to be true.

I hate to fail or be second best !
I am sure I can do anything I decide to and do it better than almost anyone.
I'm not a psychiatrist (more of a psychotic) lol, but I'd guess I learned it from My momma n poppa and then life application.I'd like to accept failure gracefully and be able to be most capable without pride. The change is not an attainable goal but a lifetime pursuit.
