How do i make my usb drive writable.?

Currently my usb drive appears as readonly on windows xp pro (no switch on drive for readonly). From what i understand there are some setting in the registery that are cozing this. Can anyone tell me how to fix this...

prolly the best thing is to go the the manufacturer's website. usually the have faq that might help or some time patches to download......
