Who thinks that Wife Swap is bad for the little kids who go through it? I think the huge changes and arguing plus missing their mothers has to be hard on them.

I think it is kind of a stupid show myself. I watched some of it last night and I agree with you 100%. All that arguing is not good for children.

I think that most kids around 8 and up would be able to value it as a positive experience. It shows them a new view of the world, instead of their parents own bubble (and trust me, some of the parents do keep their kids in a bubble) and yeah the new "wife" and original parent can argue something fierce, but that is the original parents fault. If they just went a long with the experiment, everything would generally be fine.

It could also be good for them when the new mother has more common sense than their real mother. Just another way to look at it.
