I'm 35 weeks and this is my third pregnancy. With each pregnancy I've felt great physically, no aches or pains, no discomfort, I'm still light on my feet, I don't waddle, have never had pelvic pressure and don't have any complaints. Are very pregnant women supposed to feel miserable, not be able to function without help from others? Because with each pregnancy I keep hearing "I can't believe you can still drive...live off of 6 hours of sleep a night...aren't waddling...aren't complaining...don't feel like a lump on a log...are light on your feet...haven't gained an enormous amount of weight." I guess I should be grateful I've had 3 very easy pregnancies. Has anyone else felt great up till the end?

I felt GREAT during my pregnancy. My only "complaint" was that I had swollen feet for the last month or so (baby was born mid August). I had swelling in my feet for quite some time, but I have a desk job and so they would swell during the day and then I would elevate at night and they would go down. The last month they were just continuously swollen but they didn't bother me. In fact, I am a headache sufferer and always tired, and I only experienced 2 headaches during the whole pregnancy and after the 1st trimester of going to bed a little earlier, I was in great shape! But yeah, you are one of the lucky ones as my friend who is pregnant now (12 weeks or so) has done nothing but complain and my other friend who just had her baby did the same thing.

I've gained a lot (50 lbs.), but other than swollen ankles, I still feel fine. I'm at 38 weeks. Sure, I get tired easier, but I'm still working 35 hours a weeks at RadioShack, so it's not like I sit around all day. My husband keeps saying how great my attitude has been, too. Last weekend I volunteered at our church's festival doing food prep for several hours. As we were leaving, I was being silly with our 6 year old daughter, and an old lady said "You can't possibly be that happy, as far along as you are." I beg to differ. I feel pretty good, actually. :)

Absolutely! I had people who were determined to make me miserable, but it just didn't happen.

At about 8 months, my hips started giving me trouble at night and my feet began to swell. Other than that, I felt great. I've had thyroid problems for a few years, and it seemed like when I was pregnant my hormones worked right for the first time in years. I loved every minute of it. I didn't get sick, or super-exhausted, or anything. I felt like SuperMom!

Maybe we're just lucky and they're just jealous!

I did with my first, my only problem was passing out if I sat down too long, he was cutting off my air...With my 2nd, I felt fine pregnant wise, but I had a cold that lasted 21/2 months, it didn't go away until 2 days after I gave birth,,,,but I drove, walked fine, got out of a chair by myself....woosies!!!
