okay my ipods basically froze. its fully charged and it was on shuffle about to play a song but i wanted to skip it and it wouldnt do anything the hold button ISNT on so it should work. and it says its playing but its not doing anything at all. and the light isn't going off either its been like that for 10 minutes and i cant shut it off. whats going on?!?!

Reset it by holding down "Menu" and the middle button for 5 seconds. The Apple Logo should pop up. (This will not harm or erase anything). If this does not work, plug it into iTunes and restore it.

flick the hold button on and off and then hold down menu and the middle button together until the ipod restarts, then it should be running normally again

Try to hold menu and the middle button and you could also try going to ipod.com or w/e the website is and troubleshooting there

You will want to reset your iPod. Since you don't say what pod you have, you will have to go to apple.com to read about how to reset yours. That should take care of it.

Hook it back up to your computer and eject it properly. That usually works for me. (hit eject icon on itunes next to ipod name)

your harddrive/disk probably froze up. nothin you can do but put away the crappy apple product and get yourself a zune.. way better.. way way way better.. wireless sharing, video, pictures, 30g, radio, customize backround/themes, etc.
