Brown v. Topeka Board of Education (1954) was a very important Supreme Court that was very important for civil rights. It oveturned Plessy v. Ferguson (1896) that had allowed for separate, but supposedly equal public institutions and facilities for whites and blacks. On this basis all answers a, b,c,d, and e are correct. It would be better to say Brown v. Topeka Board was supposed to end legal desegregation. It had a phrase that this desegregation was supposed to end "with all deliberate speed." Schools somehow evaded this as way to end it at a later time, even into the 1960s and early 1970s. But the mandate was clear. Therefore the correct answer is e, All of the above are correct. E is correct.
