Are you referring to benefits that a child is receiving due to the death of a parent? If this is what you're asking, then as long as the minor is still in school prior to turning 18, they will continue to get benefits until they reach either 19 or graduate. What I read stated they get it until their 19, but I've also heard its when they graduate, so not quite sure on the exact specifics. But they will request something from you to prove their still a student just prior to them turning 18 and as long as they are a student in high school or middle school NOT COLLEGE! They will get benefits.

Are you talking about benefits you are currently recieving like death benefits for the childs parent? If so I believe they cease when the child turns 18 and finishes grade school.
