my mothers been going through mennopause for like a year now...and shes been spotting like shes on her period is that normal or no ??if its normal ..what causes it?

It is normal when going through menopause. Just because she is going through menopause doesn't mean your periods stop completely all of a sudden. Spotting can continue on and off. Everyone has different symptoms. It can take years to go through menopause too, sometimes 4-5 years depending on the person. If she is on medicine it can help some of the symptoms. Maybe she should talk to her Dr.

Could be normal for her. Like pregnancy, menopause is different for everyone.
