Who do I contact in order to report that money was stolen from my bank account when placing an order online? Buy.com messed up an order of mine which I sent back to their warehouse for a replacement and its been over 2 months and I still have not got my item.

I have asked for a refund and BUY.COM said they will not give me one because "a replacement order has already been placed." This sounds bogus and I need to contact the authorities to get my money back and start an investigation.

Who do I contact?

I have had similar problems with buy.com before as well and do not recommend to anybody to order from them, I know I never will again. Their customer service reps are rude, hung up on me multiple times I've called for a replacement order, and finally when I got through to a supervisor he said that he cannot replace my 60' Plasma HDTV that came with a crack in the screen when I got it because "it is not their responibility once I have opened the packaging box." Ridiculous. Anyways, your best bet it to contact your bank about this. Good luck and God speed.

Dispute the charges with your bank. This should stop things for at least 30 days while an investigation is underway.

I have purchased from buy.com and I was extremely happy. This was within the last month or so, and it was my first purchase from them and no problems.

Go to your bank and explain what happened. Then reverse the charges. Then write buy.com that two months is too long for a replacement. Tell them that if they take any unauthorized money out you will sue them. Make sure you save Emails you send to them and the ones you recieve from them.

If you cannot get anywhere with buy.com, I would contact the credit card and file a dispute. They will likely not make you pay the charge, but you'll have to file the complaint in writing and outline the stpes you took to resolve the matter.

Call or write buy.com and demand to speak to a supervisor

Have your order number and the emails etc. printed out in front of you so you can tell them the info needed to remove the change.

If they still refuse to help, contact your credit card company and try to get the charge removed.

Buy.com is extremely reputable. They didn't swindle you, for that I am sure. Whatever the issue, it is either a miscommunication or a some other type of lost shipment that Buy.com is not privy too. Try calling them again.

Contact your bank and dispute the charge. You may have to fill out some papers giving the details -but they'll give you your money back and work with the seller to resolve it.

FIRST
contact your credit card company. Explain to them and they should investigate this false charge, and they shouldreverse the charges since you havent received your merchandise.

Then contact the better business bureau and alert them of what happened.
