well, there is good food and drink but don't you need money or power to get those.

I don't know if we ever will, to be honest. These days adverts swamp us with things to want and buy. I don't really like it, but that's how it is for the many. My personal approach:
Better the money in my pocket than someone else's!
I have everything I need and much I want, but I want to get through uni first!
Hopfully I will keep this attitude for life.

Its a noble thought.
Unfortunately,money and power bring us those things that we desire.
We couldnt travel and see great and wonderful places without money for transport.
We couldnt eat quality food,or give our children the best upbringing.
Lifes not perfect,but its not bad either.

we all need money to survive and i like having power over my life so there is more to life yes ,but we cant live without them either

Our behavioral patterns our derived from our need to reproduce by establishing and improving our status. Money is simply a manifestation of resources, power and status. We will likely continue to lust after it because it's written into our very genes.

I already have, but people like us are sadly in the minority.
a lot of people are wrapped up in the whole thing & don't want to even contemplate anyhting that upsets the consumer status quo.

simple peaceful folk never get powe, its always the hot shot ego nutters. they only know money and materialism. they use all of their power and resorses to brainwash the people to believe in the same financial god, those who think and act deeper are far in advance
