Im a huge fan of Nora Roberts. If you want humor... check out Sophie Kinsella and her SHOPAHOLIC series. They are great. I also recomend Somthing Blue and Something Borrowed by Emily Giffith.... and Good in Bed and In her Shoes (which was just made into a movie not long ago) by Jennifer Weiner. Those are my faves to date.

HAPPY READING!

My favorite author is John Grisham . Most of his books are about the Law profession since he is a lawyer . Usually everthing he writes ends up on the best seller list. He is an excellent fixion writer but his last book " The Innocent Man " is a true story.
Here is a list of his books and when they came out.:
1989 - A Time to Kill
1991 - The Firm
1992 - The Pelican Brief
1993 - The Client
1994 - The Chamber
1995 - The Rainmaker
1996 - The Runaway Jury
1997 - The Partner
1998 - The Street Lawyer
1999 - The Testament
2000 - The Brethren
2001 - A Painted House
2001 - Skipping Christmas
2002 - The Summons
2003 - The King of Torts
2003 - The Bleachers
2004 - The Last Juror
2005 - The Broker
2006 - The Innocent Man

Some have been made into movies so maybe you know of his work. Hope this helps.

I like "Angela's Ashes" By Frank McCourt. It's a memoir about a boy growing up in Ireland back in the day, like over 60 years ago. He had such success with it that he's written two other books about his life since then. "Tis" and "Teacher Man" He's a Pulitzer prize winning Memoirist :) They're very good books you should check them out.
