Hi, my battery on my 95 tigra keeps going flat.. oringinally i thought the battery was faulty but i recently replaced i with a new, decent one.. Its goes totally flat over night even when i charge it. The terminals are definately the right way... any ideas?? thanks!!

Alternator is most likely not charging it as you drive.

Assuming its charging when you drive? then you have a considerable load on it. A short to the chassis is possible but unlikely as this would affect your alternators ability to charge it.... (You'd probably get a battery warning light). Have you added anything to the car that could be drawing current from the battery? If you have added something no matter how seemingly insignificant, remove it and see what happens.

alternator is knackered or there could be a wire off or loose(alternator)
