She actually sold her image for a 40 of Olde English and some curb feelers. She jumped on the welfare wagon and never got off.

Inform your 8 year old daughter that her grandma left a inheritance of welfare check to her.....but donated the proceeds from the syrup to the Black Panther Party...

As a distant relative, I can say she was one of the first peeple to join the welfare program when it was first introduced in 1935. She lived comfortbly off gubment cheese until her untimely death in 1988.
