We had sex and obviously used a condom, I made sure to squeeze the tip and release any air inside it. We had sex, and before he finished, he pulled out even though he was wearing a condom. After he pulled out, we took the condom off and put it off to the side. He was laying on top off me and we were both cuddling on the bed. When he got up off me, I noticed that his penis had leaked more semen onto leg and around my vagina. I checked to see if it had gotten onto my vagina, because I was already and wet and couldn't tell. My boyfriend said it smelt like lube and probably wasn't the sperm. I've had my peroid every month since I was 12, just not on the exact day each time. I get PMS too. So if I have mood changes and sore breasts, am I PMS'y or pregnant? We've had sex since then and I've bled, but was that implantation bleeding or because we just started having sex and my vagina is stretching?

I'm 17 and had sex for the first time with my boyfriend of one year. I love him and trust him and I tried to be as careful as possible.
Having sex wasn't an unplanned decision either. I thoroughly researched it and I'm getting the injection birth control soon. So I'm not a stupid teenager with raging hormones.
Please this was an accident, should I be worried?

I know how you feel. Im 19 and am due to have a baby in 1 week. Dont let all these people scare you!! it makes me so mad people will put any answer up here just to get points added to their pages!

Sperm can swim even if it hit air but its a small chance that you have gotten pregnant because of it!

If you are freaking out about it and make yourself belive you are pregnant you can stop your own period and have symptoms of pregnancy..i did it twice!!

It was very scary and its not hard to find out! Go to any store and just buy a test you dont have to be a certain age to do it and you can take the test in the restroom at the store you bought it if you are afraid you will get caught with it.

If you dont have the money to buy a test look in the phone book for a Womans clinic...they will do a pregnancy test for free!

Don't let people make you look stupid or make you feel like you werent old enough to do this! When its your first time you will assume the worst...

I hope everything goes the way you want it!

Accidents happen. At least you tried to be cautious which is a lot better than most people. Since it was your first time I think you could just be stressing about it too much. Now I'm not saying you are or aren't pregnant, taking a test after your first missed period should help you out there. The problem with worrying is that people often confuse symptoms of illness. PMS and pregnancy symptoms have a lot of similarities so its really hard to figure out which is which. I've been in your situation before and it turned out to be nothing but all in my head, lol. I would wait on the next intimate moment with your boyfriend until after you have gotten on BC for a while. Chin up girl and try not to stress out. Take a hpt and then decide on what to do.

So your in a rut...the best thing to do is make sure. You can purchase a pregnancy test at your local grocery store, or what I would do is go to a Planned Parenthood. You can find a clinic near you by visiting www.plannedparenthood.org. They can give you a pregnancy test and if you are pregnant, discuss your options. Also, they can teach you how to prevent pregnancies by using different methods of birth control. I know this can be a scary time but you will get through it. It isn't the end of the world. Good Luck!

Is your period late?

Honestly, the chances of becoming a mommy with the precautions you took are pretty slim - but certainly not 0. If your period is late, take a test and go from there.

You may or may not be doing this already, but using condoms with spermicide can reduce your chances. Be sure you are not pregnant before getting the birth control injection. Once you get the bc, still use condoms for a month as it takes some time for your body to get used to the bc and be effective. (of course the only 100% foolproof way to avoid pregnancy is to abstain)

I commend you and your boyfriend for waiting a year, and for taking such precautions! It is obvious that you are a smart young lady.

The best answer I can think of is to wait and see if you miss your period. Home tests can show "false positives" and have you worried for no reason.

If you are going to get the birth control, they will let you know if you are pregnant or not, as they will not administer the birth control if you are.

Next, you must decide if you are ready for the "Y" answer. At 17, you haven't really experienced a lot of what life has to give, so you have a lot of questions to ask yourself if you are pregnant.

If you haven't had your peroid yet, but he pulled out while wearing a condom I would say you're not pregnant, but he leaked onto your opening? Hm. Wait a week or so and then take a test. It'll be hard to face that reality, but its the only way to clear your mind and then take appropriate action.

You might be pregnant, but probably unlikely. What he was smelling was probably the sperm, though. Lube doesn't usually have a smell, unless it's the flavored kind. Seminal fluid has a very pungent aroma. Good luck with that! I hope you're not, just because you guys are so young, but even if you are, you'll figure it all out.

The best thing to do (I Think.) is to go have the test done at one of your local pregnancy places, cause the worse that you could be is pregnant. But if there is something else going on at least you are where they will be able to help. And by all means don't do this alone cause the mind will play tricks on you and make you worry endlessly.

Sometime the stress of worringt about something can cause your period to be abnormal. If you are stressing aboutu being prego then that might be your whole problem. But if you want to be sure you should take a test and see. Beacuse you need to make sure you can get early care as well.

K as already said wait until your period is late and then take a test. Its good that you are using protection and thinking.
Have you researched the BC injection? Please do so and ask friends or family if they have had it, what their experience was. My experience on the injection was horrible, but everyone is different. I hate taking pills so that was not for me either, so I used the patch which was great. Please Please research the injections before you get one. that's all and let us know if you are pg or not. Good luck
