we are just born this way.
the important thing to remember is that by your own admission, he is your friend. He is the same person right now that he was before you found out he was gay. Do not let it change your friendship.

Homosexuals mostly all have one thing in common: They have been sexually molested as a child. It is not a thing you are born with, and the evidence is overwhelming based mostly on twin studies. Homosexuals are no more born gay than pedophiles are born child molesters. It is a lie they want you to believe (that you were born that way) so they dont have to be responsible for their own actions. Your parents were born straight, and so were you.
