In debate class I was assigned Pro Gay Adoption- which I do not agree with, so its not my easiest topic.... I need information or sites other than wikipedia that give info about homosexual adoption. Also I would love your opinion on Homosexual adoption, pro or anti Adoption, and why.

I am pro gay adoption. Simple reason: a child needs a loving home and if the parents are loving and will offer a nurturing environment, the child will be happier there than at a hetero home that abuses the child.

If people talk about how the child might be ostracized in school, THEY are part of the problem. Because of their close-mindedness, their children will ostracize the child who has gay parent/s. It's quite similar to the children born out of marriage just about 50 years ago and the stigma attached to it.

You see, children repeat at school what they learn at home. If they learn hate and bigotry and discrimination, that's what they will bring to school.

As for adoption, believe me, I have seen enough of troubled kids with hetero parents that I am very much for gay adoptions IF they can offer a stable family life to the child.

My opinion is that the perfect kinfolk environment is a strong guy/lady relationship the position one parent can stay homestead finished time. Why? because each and every has something to make a contribution to the type of a baby and an entire time parent is sweet, no count what sex. although, there are quite some little ones obtainable who're seen frustrating to undertake, for most various motives. a sturdy, strong, chuffed homestead with gay dad and mom or possibly a unmarried parent is significantly more desirable sensible than no homestead in any respect. i imagine those sorts of issues should be considered and the newborn should be positioned in the proper accessible environment.

I can't understand why anyone would be against it - some of the best parents I know are gay, what difference one's sexual orientation or having two parents of the same gender is supposed to make is beyond my comprehension.
I think the best way to approach the issue if you are against it is to come up with all the reasons you are against it and then find counter-arguments - I'd be happy to help with this, as I feel strongly that gay people should have this right, feel free to e-mail me with your thoughts, I'll try to counter each one, and hope it helps! Good luck!
