He doesn't say 'no evidence' he says he 'has no evidence'. It doesn't mean Iran isn't or that evidence doesn't exist. If you also read headlines, instead of cherry-picking the ones you like, you'll see that Bush has softened the Iranian rhetoric and said there are no plans for war with Iran.

The other gentleman that answered this answer correctly, that the Joint Chiefs had not come up with evidence, yet. However, I believe this administration is spoiling for a fight, with anyone. It is fairly frightening to me particularly since I was formerly in the Navy, and worked for the Federal Government and have many friends in harms way. Generally, we can no longer support any more 'invasions'. We haven't enough troops to go around, as it is. Recently, I went to the VA Hospital to pick up a prescription and what a SAD sight it was to see all these young men and women without limbs and worse. Such a sad commentary on how our Administration. Most of these kids (and many were very very young) were languishing for hours in chairs, waiting for a little tiny bit of medical attention. I always drive away crying. But, our President is ridiculously stubborn and resistant to change and other rational thoughts from anyone, and doesn't see it the way the general public does. He only has to come up with some 'facts' to twist, so we can make everyone ELSE in the world despise us, and so he can make more excuses to attack yet another country.

Why do we need evidence of Iran arming Iraqis?
They threatened to blow up ships with drone aircraft in international waters.
That is good enough to start leveling airfields.

As per your usual, more spin. What will be YOUR next lie you post on here?
Nobody can watch Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and believe him.

It seems to me like the questions were pretty straight forward but he refused to say- "No. Iran is not supplying arms to the insurgency"
Why wouldn't he even deny it if it weren't true?
Anyone who thinks Iran would not take every chance they get to covertly stick it to America is living in denial.

None. President Bush is not a Democrat and, therefore, has no need to lie. I'd like to see a reference to General Pace stating that the Iranians are not arming Iraqis. I think that you just made that BS up.
