Depends where you're coming from and who you're flying with. Have a look at the airfares available and see where they're already transitting through. Otherwise, if money's no option, you can pretty much stop off anywhere in Asia on the way through. Again, depends what you're looking for as to where you might want to go. Singapore's fun for a day or two, Vietnam was amazing, Thailand was fun, Bali's great for beaches.

Lots of places to choose from, you could either stop at Thailand or Malaysia if you are looking for cheap bargains or just to relax on the beach, Singapore is mostly shopping and Bali has some nice scenery as well, cheers

Most of my friends, going to or from, have stopped in Singapore. Some have rested up in Bali.
