My very first college roommate and her boyfriend used to talk to God. And no, I don't mean praying.
They would ask God really mundane questions like "Hey God, should we go out for ice cream?" And then they would be like "Ok, God said yes." At first I thought they were joking -- but they really weren't.
On the other hand, she was a really nice girl. When some other girls in the dorm started a nasty rumor about me, she didn't participate.
After that year, I moved in with a friend. We fought sometimes, but we're still very close to this day.

My first dorm roommate was a princess with unreasonale expectations; she told me I was spending too much time in the room doing homework, so I started studying with other people in their rooms, and then she told me I was gone too much, and in the meantime, she was failing her classes while I was passing. The final straw was when she told my RA that I bother her too much because i got up for my morning class and the noise of brushing my teeth bothered her. I wasn't blow-drying my hair or anything, I was brushing my teeth!
My next dorm roomie was a lot of fun and we did all sorts of stuff together. The best thing was she knew where all the parties were so I could always count on her for a good time. The worst thing - when she got drunk she liked to cut her wrists... not fun!
I moved into an apartment with my cousin and her best friend. A few months into it, I suspected they were taking my keys and using my car at night, so I set the tripdometer to 0 before going in, and sure enough, it had 50 miles on it when I got in the next morning. Worse, though, was that they also cracked my windshield. They agreed to pay for it and I was more protective of my keys, but shortly thereafter I found out they had been overcharging me for rent and utilities to cover my cousin's medical bill since she got herself pregnant. We started looking at all the bills together and dividing it evenly, and then they just turned into blatant klepto's, stealing things and then conveniently not remembering I even owned such a thing.
I moved out into an apartment by myself. My boyfriend now lives with me in my house, but he is a good roommate; he cooks, cleans the dishes and takes out the garbage. I vacuum and keep the bathrooms clean and do the general tidying as well as laundry. It works out pretty well.

I guess we will start with the best, out of niceness. She was a nice, fun to be around person, with amazing friends, and we all enjoyed hanging out. The worst? Even though she went to the showers everyday and came back with wet hair, she smelled. Horribly. I don't know if it was some disease, or what, but our room smelled awful because of it.
