i know a girl who was told by a guy that he wanted to hang out at his place. she said ya why not but no sex. he said he had to pick up the keys at a friends house. she then found out that this supposably had the key at a local hotel. she had made it clear that she had only been with one man her whole life and thats it until she found the right person. he said come with me to pick the key up. he went in to the room and she said no several times but was scared to fight him because he was a weight trainer and was pumed full of steroids

If she said no, then it's rape. Period. She should report it to the authorities.

HOWEVER...she was very foolish going into a hotel room with him. I don't think she was asking for it, but all she had to do was refuse to be alone with him. In a public place, all she had to do was loudly say that she didn't want to go with him. Women also have a responsibility to protect themselves.

No that is not rape. She had plenty of opportunity to back out of this situation. Like when she found out they were going to a motel room. Sounds to me like she might regret it now, but didn't really mind it at the time. Instead of taking ownership of her responsibility she is playing the victim card. She is responsible for her own security. This story is rife with alarms and she had many chances to not put herself in this position. Like when they showed up at the motel, she could have just as easily said "I'll wait here" when she was in the lobby while this guy went to the room to do whatever it was he was at the hotel to do. This story does not add up at all! Is this guy some other girls boyfriend and now its come out that these two have slept together???

Yes it was rape and why didn't she contact the police after it happened? You're her friend so why didn't you call them for her since she was probably too upset? You can still call them and get this man in jail. If you don't he could come after your friend again or you or any other woman he wants too.

That's rape. Call the police or go to a hospital to get checked out as soon as possible. This isn't your fault.

If she told him NO (in words), then yes, rape. If she didn't even bother to say no, then it's not rape. Foolish girl.

Definitely rape. Get her to report it immediately. Even if they don't have enough proof to charge him, SHE needs some help.
