i want to find stas on EVERYTHING, from health issues, finnacial status, personal info everything. the reason for this is that my brother claims that gay people affect our country in a negative way and that because of them all these bad things happen and i want to prove him wrong

Okay first off, your brother is lying. Second have you checked out the Human Rights Campaign? They give you most the information you are looking for. They also have links to other sites to help you narrow down your search. I had to do a lot of research on the gay community and found that site very helpful. Good luck and do your research before you listen to something like that.

Your brother sure needs some facts! PFLAG national website has a lot of information and links, so does HRC. Also, let your brother know that gay and lesbian people actually help the economy because they have more disposable income than hetero people.

Just google statistics on homosexuality and health, homosexuality in society, and anything else you want to know. Trust me, it isn't going to be hard to prove your brother wrong.

Avoid anything from NARTH. They are very anti-gay and most of them are ministers and discredited "scientists" like Paul Cameron.
