It's totally normal. It's called Witch's milk. This temporary phenomenon is due to stimulation of the baby's breasts by the mother's hormones that cross the placenta during pregnancy.

Nothing to worry about. It is usual for babies to have lumps in breasts, leak breast milk or even have a menses like bleeding after birth in female babies. It happens because the maternal hormones cross the placental barrier and go into the circulation of the baby, where they produce changes and after birth can cause queries to the parents. It settles down within the first 4-6 weeks and need not to go for any investigations. Parents needs only reassurance from the family physicians

This can happen because of the hormones in the mother's milk. My baby girl had "mini menstruation" during the first few weeks also due to the hormones in my milk. The nurse who discharged us from the hospital told us that this can happen and it is all normal!
Congratulations on your newborn!

Not unusual, some baby's express breast milk due to an excess of mom's hormones running through their systems. Some girls will also have what appears to be a period. If you are very concerned you can check with your pediatrician, but it's normal and will go away on its own.

My girlfriend recently had a daughter who leaked breastmilk as a newborn. The doctors assured her it is very normal and common. It's due to her hormones. My friends daughter went away after 3 months. Make sure you dont squeeze them or pinch them. Just leave them alone!!

My son developed little breast buds when I was nursing. Your baby has an excess of your hormones in her system. I would double check with a lactation specialist, but I suspect your daughter is fine.

I have read about this before. I read it can be normal due to the overload of hormones from mom and herself. If I find something on it I will send you the link

It's actually not unheard-of. The hormones in your body sometimes will cause your baby to "lactate." Don't worry about it. It should stop soon.
Congratulations on your new baby!
