How long does it take to get your period after taking Provera?

MY dr put me on 2 pills a day for 5 days to induce my period.

I took one pill (10 mg) a day for 5 days and got my period 8 days after I started taking it. I forget what "normal" is supposed to be, and of course everyone is different.
