You forgot your password and need help gaining access?

You let it lock after a screen saver etc... if so just type in your password and user name as normal.

You have a lock on the laptop that will not let you lift the lid?

You need to provide much more detail.

All computers and laptops "lock up" on occassion. Turn off power and start all over again. Don't make this a habit. It's not good for the unit. If it happens too often, have it checked out. Or, go to the manual and read up on causes.
