Doesn't sound like a good idea but who knows go try it and see what happens. Why you are at why don't you bring along a slingshot and pebbles as well.

The best advice one can give you is to bring a gun to an actual gunfight but what do i know

No, why would you want to do that in the first place? It doesn't make any sense. You'll ge the **** kicked out of you if not die.
