"swinging" or "swapping?" What was it like? Do you continue to participate in the activity? Did it make your relationship stronger or destroy it?

~My ex husband is a swinger and he's a meth addict. That should give you some idea of how stupid it is.
I myself never have and never will "swing" or "swap." I would think it would ruin the trust you each have.~

*The traveling gardener, I don't believe you for a second!

I have been a nudist and swinger for many years now and live a wonderful life. Before I go on telling you about the virtues of swinging I must say that if I ever brought the subject up with my wife it would have immediately raised questions about our marriage. Unfortunately she has passed away and once I started dating again I decided to go a different route. I now have a girlfriend that is both a nudist and swinger and we both love the whole thing. We have been around and in our 50's so you really can't surprise either of us. To more directly answer your question if your relationship isn't strong and you don't have party rules set up in advance as to what is ok to do and what is not ok to do you will have problems. The biggest problem is envy when one or the other breaks the rules that both have set in advance or when one shows a little more affection rather than just sex to your mate.

Yes I have...It's not as good as people make it out to be and in the long run you end up feeling used abused and all alone in the world.
Find yourself a partner who is true and you will be as happy as long you are willing to work toward a future together.

I have a wife and we live with our girl friend. Sex is one on one in seperate bedrooms. We started out in the same bed, but now I rotate every two days to keep everyone happy.

As much as I'd like to try it, I value my friendships and marriage more than the sexual possibilities.

I've always been poly. I have sex with other women besides my primary partner. I like it and she likes it.

She doesn't like to sleep around herself, but we have a compromise whereby she watches or partcipates only with me. It hasn't weakend our relationship (but then, our relationship has always existed in the context of the polyamory).
