Does anyone know if I need to bring an adapter for my various electronic devices?

No - they are on the same current as the good old USA.

First, you do realize that to get legally married in Mexico you have to meet residency requirements: something like everyone in the wedding party must be in Mexico for 5 (?) days before the wedding. What most couples do is have a "celebration of marriage" combined with their honeymoon at a resort after a legal marriage in the U S. That is what my son and his wife did in 2010. It was all done very well, and many happy memories were made. We were all at Dreams Tulum (90 miles south of Cancun). Lovely resort, attentive and friendly staff, and excellent food - so I would expect great things at any Dreams resort.

Absolutely not.....same plugs as the ones you use every day..well, at least if you are from the United States. Now if you are from the UK.....better bring an adapter. You will love the resort....it is my favorite. Within walking distance to Margaritaville and Pat O'Brien's ....... also my favorites. Make sure you go to Coco Bongo....no matter what your age.....Vegas style shows that are absolutely wonderful!! Need any other hints.....feel free to e-mail me at sunsationvacations@yahoo.com. no, you don't. mexico has the same type of outlets as you find in the US and Canada.
it's a great hotel too! have fun!!
