This has been happening a lot to me too. Make sure you delete the quesstion yourself, otherwise they take points of you if they delete it for having no answers!
I've been trying to post a question for ages.....!

Had that this morning, and because no one answered it, Yahoo deleted it and deducted 10 points!

I don't know why that happens but I've had it happen to me a few times.
One thing I can say with certainty is that Yahoo is a bit rubbish.
