You should definatly NOT be eating 2 or 3 times more than what you ate before, unless you only ate like once a day before. You only need approximatly 500 calories more per day if you were eating a normal 1500 to 2000 calorie diet. If you were eating a high fat/calorie diet before then you probably don't need any more calories.

If you are at a healthy weight you can gain up to 35lbs through out your whole pregnancy. I was overweight when I got pregnant. I realized I needed to clean up my eating habits to help the baby grow, so I did and I only gained 22lbs the whole pregnancy. I lost 20lbs before I was out of the hospital. I've lost 25 more since then(he's 1yr now). Anywho, what I'm saying is, DON'T listen to the misconception that you need to eat for two.

Also, being two weeks pregnant is impossible. The way that they count the first two weeks of pregnancy are actually before conception. Weird, I know, but that's the way it's counted. So you're probably more like 4 to 5 weeks pregnant.

Congratulations and I hope you have a healthy happy pregnancy ending in a beautiful baby.

This is a MAJOR misconception of pregancy. You do not have to eat for two. In fact you only need approx. 300-500 extra calories a day. This could be an extra sandwich ( pb and J ) or something small like that. You dont want to gain too much wieght while pregnant b/c it can complicate your pregancy as well as labor. In addition to that losing extra wieght gained after being pregnant is difficult to lose. You should gain a total of 25-30 lbs during the next 9 months. Ask your doctor about this and I am sure you'll get the same answer. Your probably wanting to eat more b/c your excited about being pregnant and want to have a healthy baby ! :) Good luck

Yes, in fact, I had food aversions that early as well. I didn't have morning sickness. I also had very odd cravings (tuna and sour cream) that usually I would have never even thought of before. I seemed hungry then, but at 15 weeks and 6 days I am even hungrier than before. Remember though, you only need about 300-500 calories more than before you were preggo. It is about 500 more calories if you breast feed. Now, though I eat all the time but I don't eat alot at one setting and it is healthy food. Congrats on your pregnancy.

you might start to feel more hungey i dont know though thats pretty early but alot of people get symptoms of pregnancy right after conception so maybe! Dont eat triple time more though, you will regret it in the end. You more times but smaller meals.

You don't neccessarily get more hungry, but you can have cravings, and if your unfortunate to crave something that is high in calories you'll end up putting loads of weight on,so be careful.
