A logical existential answer could also be a hopeful one, could it not? Perhaps it depends upon the question being asked.

It is possible for evidence and logic support two answers equally well, with one answer being "hopeful" and the other "despairing". What then?

Whoever said a logical, existential answer is a better one? I'm sure there are many people like myself who are a bit on the idealistic side and would prefer a hopeful answer. You're jumping to conclusions my friend.

Mental consciousness ultimately assimilates only what has been proven by contact through the sex senses (five physical senses plus remembrance/perception).

In contrast, a hopeful answer must continually be fueled with mental imagery and drama (religious rites, ceremonies, dogma and subjective justifications) in order to maintain hope alive.

because to many people live inside the box now days. that is the reason why most think logically. but for those of us that have jumped out of that box we bring promise and hope to the wold and find ways to over come are obstacles in life.

Because the logical answer provides a substance .,and the hopeful answer requires faith in the substance.

It's "logic vs. hope" here:
"Logic" can be based on experimental scientific trial and "hope" is more of a spiritual emotion.
If a doctor said you had a disease... would you want his "logical"
suggestion for a cure... or his "hopeful" one?

logical is usually based on past experience or performance (science, data, etc) while hopeful is based on faith. Why not both?

it gives you sense of safety , questionable as long as you enter yourself to examen it...Hopeful answer must be embraced by Faith not by belief and Faith is that which we are desperately short of...
