Is it a Wireless Router Modem or is it just a local USB style Modem?

If its a Wireless router (or wired even) where you can share more than one PC from it then an IPCONFIG /ALL will not suffice as this will show the DNS server as the Router (as this is your local DNS server, it will pass all lookup requests to the ISP DNs server for resolution)

You should either be able to connect to you router and look for your DNS server IP addresses or if you can find out what your IP address is on the Internet (not your local network one) then you can work out what your ISP DNS addresses are.

Go to this site to get YOUR Internet IP address - http://whatsmyip.org/

Then copy this address and paste it into the op box here: http://whatsmyip.org/whois/

You are looking for the entry called NAMESERVER (there will be more than one)

Then copy this into the box DOMAIN NAME TO IP ADDRESS RESOLVER on the same page (3rd section down) and click >RESOLVE - this will then give you your IP address of a DNS server.
