Oh, Sea World is awesome! It's definitely not just for kids and seniors. In fact, I'd much prefer going to Sea World and Discovery Cove (Sea World's sister park) rather than the Universal Studios. There's not a whole lot of rides, only a couple, but there's so many other great attractions and shows. There's so many wonderful animals to see - killer whales, beluga whales, dolphins, sharks, sting rays, sea turtles, seals, manatees, etc.
I would suggest possibly participating in one of the interactive programs or tours. There's an interaction program with the beluga whales. There's the Marine Mammal Keeper Experience where you get to experience the thrill of working alongside marine mammal experts and coming face-to-face with marine life. There's also the Sharks Deep Dive where you get to come face to face with over 50 sharks of more than seven different species in the shark habitat while in the shark cage. Then there's the Polar Expedition Tour, the Predators Tour, and the Saving a Species Tour. There's also the Adventure Express Tour which includes front-of-the-line access to Kraken, Journey to Atlantis and Wild Arctic, reserved seating at two select shows, the opportunity to touch a penguin, and the opportunity to feed dolphins, sea lions and sting rays. Lunch is included, too.
When my boyfriend and I went to Walt Disney World last summer we took the Seas Aqua Tour at EPCOT where we got to swim in the aquarium with the sharks, sea turtles, sting rays, and other fish. It was one of the best experiences we've ever had, so I think just about any of the interactive programs or tours at Sea World would be awesome.
Hope I could help! Have a wonderful time and congratulations!

Sea World is a blast and is a nice change in pace from the other parks. It is much more laid back and relaxing. Trust me, after a week at Disney, you will be ready for something a little more relaxing.
The shows are great, and pretty funny. The animals area always great to see (especially if you like animals) Ride wise, you will find that the rides are not really for kids or seniors, but most of them are a little more thrilling.
I would go, you have plenty of time in the area to see everything. Sea World is a beautiful park, I think it is a ton of fun too!

Sea World is not just for kids! I went a year ago with a co-worker when I was at a business meeting in Orlando and had a free day, and we had a blast! The shows are great, the park is really pretty and they have a few thrilling rides too. We got there as the park opened and stayed until closing and never got bored.
I would definitely recommend going, and hope you have a great time! And congratulations!

Hi, I suggest Seaworld. We've been in Orlando with our children lately. We were quite disappointed by the animal exhibits in Animal Kingdom... it feels like a standard zoo, with a little more theming... Still, there's the Nemo show, which the best we've ever seen in a theme park. In Seaworld, even if the new killer whale show is not that good (the stars should be the animals, not 'actors' on fancy screens...), as a whole it's still better than Animal Kingdom. And there's the Kraken.... which is an outstanding roller coaster !

Go where you want. Ignore anyone there or anything anyone says against it. It's YOUR vacation, not anyone else's. Be a kid, go visit the fish, make faces at them, hold hands and laugh a lot and kiss a lot.
