Yes and this is generally a sign of pregnancy even before the HPT turns up positive. When you are pregnant, you have increased blood flow to the pelvic region. Your body is just processing more and becoming more efficient. As a result, you'll be running to the bathroom quite a bit early on and then again when the baby is pressing against the bladder.
Make sure you keep drinking fluids. Some women as a result don't drink as much causing their hCG levels to dip which can put an unnecessary scare into them if their doctor unwisely says it is a sign of miscarriage. Once they rehydrate, their levels go back up.
Hope this helps :)

I am 10 weeks pregnant and haven't had to pee frequently, except I go more at night than usual. With my last pregnancy, it seemed like I had to go more often in the beginning. Every woman and every pregnancy are different though.

Yeah, it's okay. Normally you don't start to pee until a little farther along. For me it was about 8 weeks. Still as with many symptoms, some people don't have a huge change in urinary frequency. The reason for usual frequency in the beginning is because of the changes in your growing uterus. Later on in pregnancy it is because of where the baby likes to sit.

You dont HAVE to have frequent urination. 5 weeks along it may not be too noticable. Give it some time, you'll be going every 30 minutes.

So long is its not dark colored, concentrated, and strong smelling (those are signs of dehydration). Enjoy these early pregnancy days when you're bladder isn't so compressed, though most women do experience frequent urination throughout the whole pregnancy.

You're perfectly normal.
the reason why you are peeing so much is because of your expandinf uterus. frequent urination happens in early pregnancy and your last months of pregnancy.

I totally think so.. I did. Now at 13 weeks i"m peeing even more. I think it's just the presure of everthing moving around. as soon as the uterus moves up it won't be as bad.. so I've heard... I'm still waiting for that.
Congrats!

Yes it is. 5 weeks seems a little early but everybody is different. My first sympton of pregnancy was sore nipples and I would breakout the first month from the hormones.
