Many different opinions here, but most of them based on individual tastes. Not a bad thing, but not a good thing, either, because it limits judgement.

I'd have to agree with the film experts (guess that's why they're the 'experts') and the other poster who said that the worst film ever made was "Plan 9 from Outer Space." This movie has been universally panned by reviewers worldwide as being THE worst movie ever made. Here are some of the reasons why:

The whole movie was shot on a shoestring budget, which made for lousy and laughable special effects, such as tombstones in a graveyard scene falling over, day/night scenes being interspersed, flying saucers clearly being suspended by strings and casting shadows on the "open sky" behind them.

One of the main characters, Bella Lugosi of "Dracula" fame, died during filming. The movie was too far into production to start over, so they re-wrote the rest of the movie so that Lugosi's character's face would be hidden in the rest of the scenes that needed to be shot. This effort failed when the cape the actor was wearing slipped, revealing his face to the camera. That scene was NOT edited out, but was released with the movie.

The costuming was bad, very bad. They had a gorilla suit without a head and a robot head without a body and wanted to use them in the film, so - you guessed it! - they put an actor into the gorilla suit, slapped the robot head on him, and filmed away!

Yep, I'd have to say "Plan 9" is the worst movie ever!

I have to say, the worst film I have ever seen was "Maniac Nurses Find Ecstasy". It is a Troma film. Those are usually so bad they are good. Kind of like "Plan 9 from Outer Space". However, this one was just plain rotten. Story about homicidal nurses. Made with bad acting, horrible direction, made in east Europe, redubbed in English.

By the way, "Waterworld" is not that bad of a movie. The ending is the worst part, but a lot of people like that movie. Most people call it a bad movie because it bombed in the box office. Bombing in the box office is not a good indicator of a bad movie. "Shawshank Redemption" did pretty poorly at the box office. It became a hit when it hit the video shelves.

Waterworld is not a bad movie. It was Kevin Costners follow up to Waterworld The Postman that was a bad movie. Waterworld now has quite a cult following and has recouped losses on DVD release

No way Moulin Rouge is one in each and every of my conventional videos. Me and my husband were given married to the Moulin Rouge version of Your music. Its a staggering movie and holds alot of sentemental cost for me.

Ishtar - It was AWFUL

Ishtar is a 1987 comedy film, directed by Elaine May and starring Warren Beatty and Dustin Hoffman as "Rogers and Clarke", a duo of incredibly untalented lounge singers who stumble into a political conflict in the fictional North African nation of Ishtar. It also starred Isabelle Adjani and Charles Grodin and was shot by Vittorio Storaro-

OPEN WATER where the couple get left behind, there is NOTHING to that movie AT ALL...poor poor poor!
As we walked out of the theatre(friend and me), we looked like a funeral procession. (Open Water is based on true events). But most independent films have a knack for sending their audiences out on a sour note. I personally would have preferred to see an ending with their friends and family talking about their life together and the love they shared: a love for each other, and for adventure.

I have to go with either White Chicks (for the frighteningly bad make up on the Wayans and overall plot) or Spice World (nice attempt at being the next Beatles :-P).

Teen Wolf 2

Why on earth did they make a second one? Thank goodness he did Arrested Development later on to redeem himself.

I can't really say it's the worst but it totally sucked.
