I'm 27 and have been in a long distance relationship for 3 months. We see each other every weekend. I'm suppose to arrive at his home on Friday but have changed it to Thursday to surprise him. For Valentine's Day, I got him two cards... one funny and one serious... a love letter... I'm baking chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter balls, and brownies. I do not cook or bake at all so this is a first for me. I also printed off a picture of us and framed it. I have the champagne, glasses, and candles. You know were that will lead too. Do you think this is enough? I feel like I need to get something else. I'm not comfortable in lingerie so I will not be doing that but I do have something special picked out. Any other suggestions or do you think this is enough?

im not a guy (sorry) but that definately sounds like enough!! any guy should be lucky enough to have a woman who put that much thought and time and effort into something like this!! just make sure that arriving early dosnt cause schedule conflicts (you know- can you get to his place, and get in if hes not there, stuff like that). those treats sound soo yummy! and everything sounds very lovely and special! he'll love it!

Yeah, but if you want my opinion, you did too much. 2 cards? Just go. Stop your silly worrying, seeing you should be enough. You have plans for sex and have made some type of eatery. Thats all you need.

I just realized, 3 months? That is a very short time to be going so all out, don't scare him away by making it such a big deal.

edit: haha, there were 4 responses by the time i got done typing, most saying exactly the same things. ;)

You are a good girlfriend. You have gone above and beyond the call of duty. You have done a such good job of being unique and creative. I think you should be satisfied with what you have done. I think that your smiling face will be enough for your honey, well that and maybe a big kiss and the "real dessert". lol.

That is slammin'! All a guy wants sometimes is someone to do something nice for him. Alot of the V-day stuff falls on our shoulders and we have to do something special. It's nice to receive something nice in return... Hopefully he does something equally as nice for you.

ummmm.....don't over do it....not to sound crass, but if he is anything like 99% of all males he could care less, honestly all he wants is tasty food and sex...
