Being a Bear fan I cry when I say Rivera or even Turner is up

I'd say Bill Cowher should be hired, because he ran one of the toughest defenses in Pittsburgh, and he can make the San Diego defense as tough as the one he had at Pittsburgh. As for their offense, all he's gotta do is get Rivers to throw a little bit, get a huge season from LT, and the Chargers are Super Bowl champs. The Chargers have the talent to win a Super Bowl, they just need a coach to get them there, and that coach is Bill Cowher.

Cowher or Parcells...but I don't think either man wants to come out of their fresh retirement. At this point, Norv Turner...and before you point to his crappy record, look at the teams he coached for (Redskins, Raiders) and the owners that owned the teams (Daniel Snyder, Al Davis). Not exactly the greatest opportunity. This is his best chance (and probably last) to prove he's got the stuff to be a head coach in the NFL.

BILL PARCELS...u really think he left the game of football for good? He'll be back, if not this year, then next year. He will lead the chargers to the superbowl. He knows that when you have LT on your team, you need to get him the ball more than 9 times in the second half

Ron Meek defensive Co-ordinator for the Colts.

I know what you're saying. The Colts defense sucked this year.

When it got healthy it carried P. Manning's 3 TDs for 7 interceptions through the playoffs.

JIMMY JOHNSON!!!!!!!!!!! "One wild card in the process could be former Cowboys and Dolphins coach Jimmy Johnson, who is close with Spanos. Johnson, currently an NFL analysts, has said that he doesn't want to return to coaching, but might be tempted by the extremely talented Chargers roster. " -yahoo sports
