My mother levitated once. I saw her just before she landed on the sofa where she was sleeping. She was lifted aproximately 10 to 15 cm (4-6inch) from the surface of the sofa and that was instantaneus. When she woke up, she confirmed that something had happened to her. She said that when she was half asleep she felt a very powerfull energy leaving her body. In particularly, the energy was leaving the body from the talus area of the foot. She said that it was possibly her soul leaving her body so fast (like a rocket) and went to an astral world (somewhere in the universe) far away from the earth. Then this energy returned the same as fast into her body (possibly because she reacted to my presence).

This experience made me think further. After some philoshopical research i found an ascociation between levitation and talus. In particularly i found that in Greek Mythology Talus was a Bronze Giant (constructed by Hephaistus) that was the guardian of the island of Crete. According to the Greek Mythology Talus was a flying machine that used to circulate around the island three times a day to protect from thieves the secret weapons of the Masters of Olympus (i said flying machine cause it is impossible to circulate this island three times in a day with any other means of transportation) . Nobody could defeat this machine, however when Jason and the Argonauts approached the island to get supplies, Hera wanted to protect them and she told them the way to defeat it. He had one blood vessel (energy) that extended from his neck down to his ankle (talus area), the lower end of which was held in place by a bronze stud. In order to defeat him they had to to get rid off the stud. This is the link that i found among levitation, the talus area of the foot and Talus the flying machine.

By the way, i tried to levitate myself using meditation. I gave up after some time with no positive result. I didn't know if what i was doing was right, the way to send my energy there and the possible dangers.

didn't any body ever play "light as a feather, stiff as a board" when they were kids?
You sit in a dark room and light a single candle, one person lays on the floor, one sits at their head and two on each side. The two on each side place their index and middle fingers under the person---no other fingers and not ANY part of the hand. the person at the head rubs their temple and in a slow monotone voice tells a tragic story (long or short) about that person. At the end, they say "light as a feather," the four on each side repeat and then "stiff as a board," the four on each side repeat and then all together they say "light as a feather, stiff as a board." The 4 people are supposed to lift up, using only their fingers while the person at the head keeps repeating "light as a feather ...etc..... the person on the floor is supposed to be so relaxed that you can easily lift them right up.
We got one girl several feet off the floor! I don't know if it actually worked or if it was because she was just so skinny....

Levitation is impossible dear. For people anyway.

No.
I've seen people trick people into thinking that they're levitating (like David Blaine), but it's not real and I know how it's done.

I've seen Chris Angel do it on TV but not sure if that's a camera trick or for real. I doubt it's real.

Only on magic shows--the trick is, when a magic show is filmed, the camera only shows one angle--so you cannot see the bar lifting the girl up off the bed.
