Yes. About 35 years ago, I had an abortion. In my case, it was simple cowardice, and I still can't quite forgive myself, because if I had it to do again, I am afraid I might still choose what appeared to be the easy way.

I guess I should add it involved interracial adultery. That is where I should have made my change!

I have to agree with Neo- If I sit and wish, which believe me I have, and I think that's human nature - but it's very defeating, I come away from those thoughts feeling bad. So instead I try to live by the rule that Today is the first day, of the rest of my life and that makes me feel good - when I feel good - I'm an all around better person.

I would change nothing... everything, even the adversity I have faced makes me who I am today. I like the person I am and in order to get to that I had to go through a lot, and fight a lot and persevere, but I'm a much better, stronger, passionate person for all of it.

I would much rather have the bumps and dips and speed traps along my road of life, to help me evolve to an even more strong, passionate, compassionate person then to wish them away and live on a straight one way street that's repaved each morning..

I am not saying everyone should feel this way, nor am I judging those who don't, but for me it's a nice feeling.

I would change nothing because everything contributes to make us who we are. We are the sum total of all our experiences.

There is no point in looking at your past....You have ample time left in the form of "PRESENT" to right your wrongs and correct your character...Motivate yourself and go forward happily....just like me :))
