Shri , Sri, Shrimati, Srimati are the Hindi words used before writing or pronouncing names of certain persons whom we desire to give due respect.
As in english we use Esq., Mr. & Mrs.

Sri and Srimati are terms of respect. Both are generally used with married men and women, respectively.
